Title: Fighting corruption, the Russian way
Post by: viper37 on April 08, 2011, 01:53:20 PM
Probably NSFW (http://krispotupchik.livejournal.com/189225.html)

College girls posing sexy for a calendar, with anti-corruption ads of some sort.
Can't understand the text myself, so I have to concentrate on the rest of the message ;)

Wouldn't the Russian way of fighting corruption be to execute anyone who reports corruption?

Those of you who are not Russian are lucky that you'll never get to hear Anna Chapman speak.  Let's just say that she's way hotter when she's quiet.

This is fairly similar to the Ukrainian protest group, Femen.  Only they do nude protests in public.  And are better looking.

When I heard her speak I was reminded of the episode of Blackadder goes Forth where the guy with the obvious hard german accent wasn't the spy, or the Python sketch with Hitler, Himmler, Göring and Ribbentropp hiding out in an english seaside B&B.

She couldn't possibly be a spy.. her accent was too strong...

"Sex protuberance corrupts"?  Then why do you have a picture of naked women that makes me necessarily protrube?  Crazy fucking Russians.

Typically, spies pretend to be from a third country to cover the accent.  Even spies who have largely conquered the their native accent.

Why is that one chick giving us the finger with the wrong finger?  Is that the way they flip someone the bird in Russia, or does it mean something else?  Or is her hand on backwards, like she's a mutant or something?

Hmm, or maybe just a bad photoshop?

All footage from Russia looks the same. It is like the cameras are all set to 'sad'.

Yes, I stole that joke.

The first poster says: Sex against corruption.

The second one says: Love against hate.

The third one says: Neither giving nor hating, to anyone or ever.

The fourth one says: Don't get married to a corruptioneer.

The fifth one says: I will not permit sawing out of principle (obviously slang, pun, or an idiom of some kind)

The sixth one says: I give it to the grifters.  On the face!

The seventh one says: I will grind it out without graft.

The eighth one says: I'll teach them to live without graft.

The ninth one says: I build without kickbacks.

The tenth one says: Envelopes are only for letters.

The eleventh one says: I will heal them of corruption.

The twelfth one says: I'm learn that grifter!

The thirteenth one says: I'm going to drum out graft,

The fourteenth one says: It's open season.

I liked my translation of the first one better.
