So I'm in the mall today picking up a book I ordered, and Arby's for some inexplicable reason did not have any roast beast. I figured all the huckleberrys on Languish who rave about Chick-Fil-A must be on to something, decided to give it a try.
IT'S A GODDAMN CHICKEN SANDWICH. A breaded piece of chicken on a bun. Seriously guys, is this some kind of joke?
And the waffle fries sucked too.
There is no honor among Americans.
Never had it, never even heard of the place before this board. It's pretty hard to screw up waffle fries though, as they are the best kind of fries

I can't help it that your plebian tastes can't enjoy the greatness that is Chick-Fil-A.
It's not bad. Not good either.
I can't go to Arbys. Last time I did a bigass roach crawled out of their napkins and the staff was unconcerned about that.
Goddamned Yankees. Y'all suck.
I prefer the strips or nuggets.

If they are undercooked, not good. Which can happen as they are one of the meatier fries.
Interestingly, today I went to a Rally's for the first time. I had a "Big Buford" (basically a cheeseburger), fries, and a banana milkshake. I was: pleased. The fries were particularly good.
LOL I am: there right now. One of the few play areas i'll let my kid play in.
Banana milkshake? :x

Once I was at Wendy's and there was a big mother of a cockroach on the table. As it happened, the store manager was walking by, so I alerted him to it.
He flicked it off the table with his hand and stomped it with his feet, without a word to me.

Can't say I have ever had one (not a shake kind of guy, myself) but I agree that there is nothign wrong with banana shakes that are not also wrong with about every other kind of shake than chocolate.
Thank you, g.
Banana is an awesome shake flavour.

Gotta side with grumbler on this one. Anything other than chocolate in a shake is pointless.

It tastes like vomit to me, can't stand it at all.
Vanilla ftw. Strawberry is grand too.
I think I'm gonna have to buy a blender now. I want a mango shake
Strawberry is good.
Strawberry AND banana is awesome.
Vanilla is the only one that seems pointless to me.
Chocolate is good with french fries for dipping.
Jaron is a monster. You banana lovers are just closeted.
Chocolate Milkshakes are disgusting.
Banana is where it is at.
I consider myself a milkshake connoisseur.
Chocolate and vanilla are merely ok. Of the "basic three", strawberry has a special place in my heart.
Some of the best, non-standard flavors include peanut butter and orange, and especially huckleberry.
Banana is ok, and as Jaron said, strawberry-banana is fantastic. Though in my experience, somewhat better as a smoothie than a shake.
And I found a grand, local place that serves up a multitude of flavors, the Lucky Wishbone. Great fried chicken too.

Do you really wanna throw in with Derspicy, garbon and grumbler?
Americans have Shakes with too much stuff, mainly food.
It should be had by itself, Banana is the flavor of choice.

Qdoba, Five Guys, adn Boston Market are all better. The south fails again.
I've never seen chick-a-filla. Right now though my big urge is for KFC or someting similar, damn Sweden.

Strange.
In the UK bannana, chocolate and strawberry are the basic three of milkshake. Only in ice cream does vanilla replace bannana (I've never seen bannana ice cream...)

I've never gotten that; the idea that vanilla is the 'plain' and flavorless one. Its even spread to other usage such as when talking about vanilla EU2 and the like. Vanilla is pretty clearly a flavour though. Odd how things have gone that way.

It is because in too many places "vanilla" is done so badly that it *is* flavourless. It shouldn't be, but it happens far too often.

Yes, of course it is. It is fast food, which is by definition complete trash. It is certainly better trash than any of the burger chains, but for a completely trash chicken sandwich with a lot better taste, give me the roasted chicken Twister Combo from KFC any day (and KFC's slaw is better than anyone's fries, to boot).
