*by standard I mean those tests that are appropriate for you. So blood sample tests, urine sample tests, plus extra whatever is related to your age, gender, condition etc. (e.g. breast cancer tests for women over certain age etc.)
"I'm required to" is an option for people who perform jobs that involve frequent medical tests.
"On my own" is an option for people who initiate the tests by themselves, by going to a doctor/clinic and asking for them to be performed.
Never.
Last time was when I was required to for my teaching job. Except for the simple tests they did when I was feeling sick. Otherwise, never.
Worried about that AIDS thing again, Marty? Stop sucking stranger cock.
Never.
Twice or more... required, but then its a condition of the regular tests I'm part of as part of my condition :)

Hardly ever, since I turned 18 have I been to 3 "standard medical tests" and 2 of those was when I did my national service...

he has MS you insenstive douchebag.
Once per year, when I'm employed. It's part of the annual health tests done through the employers, and are voluntary for the workers, but started by them.

Oh, man...just think of the good parking spots he gets.
Not sure any of these apply. I get my weight and blood pressure done when I go for secret lady things, and I get called up every two years for even secreter lady tests. I don't ask for these, they're just standard. I never go and get a full range of blood tests or whatever just as a check-up.
Breaking news, Mart is a hypochondriac :P
Hardly ever.
I go to the dentist once a year as that's required by my health insurance. Other than that, I haven't been at a doctor without reason for a long time.

If only <_< You need to be disabled to get those..:p
In reality though I am thankful it hasn't progressed to that yet, nor will do so in a foreseeable future *knock on wood*

Less than once every two years. At all points, I've either had crappy insurance or no insurance, and I would be stuck picking up much of a tab I couldn't afford.
Last time I got tested for anything it was for allergies back when I was 12.
Unless the Dentist test somethings.

Neither do I. I think it'd be wasting their time and mine. So yeah, Marty's a hypochondriac.
Though last time I had to give blood and urine and stuff was quite recent because of my aching back. Because of where the pain was they thought it could have been kidney problems. It wasn't.
I have to get my blood sucked once a year for the thyroid business, so they always slap on the pressure cuff and jam in a thermometer at the same time. Been a while since I've been fisted.
In a few years everybody will be talking about prostate checks.
If you mean a full medical physical, the last time I had one of those was when I was 21 as part of applying for a job. I virtually never go to the doctor... haven't been since I had to have my pilonidal sinus operated on.
I do go to the dentist twice a year, and the optometrist yearly however.

Same. Once a year the regular check up for work. Every 3 months blood tests and abdomen exploration for Crohn's, but msotly (the tests) to see if the medication is killing my liver/bone marrow/etc.

Yeah, mine is to test for infections sneaking in now that the medication subdues my own system, to test that i haven't developed antibodies for the medication and finally, to test if my neuromuscular abilities are still (fairly) intact.

No, thanks. I'm still decades away from mandatory testing and I prefer to live in blissful ignorance.

I work with a woman with MS, and since she's convinced she's not going to let MS do her in, I escort her outside for smoke breaks instead.
So, I went to my GP who knows I'm gay and managed to get her to write me a free general blood and urine, hep-C and HIV tests slip.
Not as good as last year, when I got her to give me a free tuberculosis scan, though. :P
used to be hardly ever before my High Blood Pressure spiked a couple of years ago. now I see the doctor every few months for prescription for the medicine, and occasionally I get a physical - once a year - more like every 18 months so far.

Seriously, it is nothing. Especially if a cute woman doctor is doing the exam.
Only ever got them for the army. So rarely ever.
I don't believe in a regular health check. Sure - take a blood pressure once every 4-5 years, and then go to the doctor when you feel sick.
Some screening things, mostly for women, are perhaps cost-time-effective, but PSA screening isn't.

People have a sex. Pronouns have a gender. Just sayin'.
As to the question: The last three times I went to the doctor were, April 2009, August 1998, and June 1995.
Am I: Irresponsible with my health?

Not really. "Sex" is biological, but gender is about identity/psychological. But I agree that in the context I used it, "sex" would be a more appropriate word.

Then you don't have to worry about TB. Those backward fucks get TB like the common cold.
