I haven't noticed it in stores yet, but it should have been available since last week.

Anybody got one? Curious minds wants to know :D
I'm not old enough. :(
A "microcarbonated" beer with CO2 put in afterwards? CAMRA would start a firebombing campaign!
It's Molsons, so I would take the word 'micro' loosely. Not a fan of their beers, though I'll drink Canadian in a pinch. As a beer connaisseur, though, I will taste it when it is out.
Anyone else understand the reason for the birth date at the beginning of that site? I guess it's a legal thing...but duh.....how hard can it be for a fifteen year old to figure out. He's figured out how to get on pron sites already.
I'm reminded, I know I'm digressing now, bear with me, of the age test at the beginning of the Leisure Suit Larry games. Remember those? (Remembering that is an age test in and of itself)
Anyways....I should be getting back to work.
Did they pay you to post that link?
I imagine it'll taste like all the other generic lagers out there, to be honest. Not that I mind generic lagers.

Yes, that pops up on a lot of sites now. I would guess that it is a legal, cover our asses, type thing.

QuoteI have been waiting months to post this review! I got a 6-pack as part of a test market this summer. Half of the questions had to do with whether I would pay more for this than Canadian and the best package size. I was going to share a couple of bottles but to get my pay I was supposed to drink all 6. It was a cool idea at the start but I did not look forward to the last two. To answer the inevitable question the carbonation bubbles were tiny....so what! In a blind taste test I don't think anyone would comment on tasting bubbles and could not distinguish from Canadian when cold. It is a little smoother than Canadian and less fusal as it warms. Other than that yellow/gold, tiny bubbles, thin head, aroma a bit grain and corn. A fad soon to be forgotten and Molson's effort to make their beer hip and cool at the upscale bar or night club. Unfortunately a Coors version will probably follow. Makes the new Bud Light Golden Wheat a good idea.
I remember back I'm the good old days (mid-90's) I used to get a 6-pack of any Molson variety for $3.79.
I'm a fan of the Golden, not so much the Canadian. Labatt 50 is my favorite reasonably cheap Canadian beer available in the States. :Canuck:

Market research.

Legal requirements, like some games.

Yeah, I do remember. Quite american-centric, IIRC. It was tough for us, french speaking 12 year olds :D

I wish they did. But I heard the ad on radio, and was wondering.

Well, I quite like Molson Dry for most of the time; If I feel like I want something stronger, I'll have a Fin du Monde or Trois-Pistoles to get a real different taste.

Laurentide at room temperature.
Now that's a great "I'm on a camping trip" beer.

Fin du Monde
 Maudite is also great. In fact, everything made by Unibroue is great.

50 is an old man's beer in rural Ontario. What "Black Label" used to be.
in UNI, we used to drink 50 for ironical purposes.

I like it, though it is a little "rough"; like a Canadian version of Ballantine Ale.
Is this about that Swedish guy in Indonesia?

You're about my age. Remember when Black Label made a huge comeback, probably in 1987 or so, and was a hit on campuses everywhere?

Fine beers both.
For my part, if I'm to drink generic lager I'm fine with either a local and cheap Kokanee. If it has to be "imported" I'll grab a Carlsberg or Tuborg for silly nationalist reasons (thought they started doing Carlsberg in those shitty light green bottles) or Asahi at the sushi restaurant if they don't have Kokanee.

Some buddies of mine drank it for the same reason. That, and Pilsner (count the bunnies!).
For me I've stuck with Blue for at least a dozen years.

Labatt Blue. Do they have that where you are Jaron? I know it was almost unheard of in Atlanta.

BLU?
QuoteIn 1951, Labatt launched its Pilsener Lager; when it was introduced in Manitoba, the beer was nicknamed "Blue" for the colour of its label and the company's support of Winnipeg's Canadian Football League (CFL) franchise, the Blue Bombers. The nickname stuck and in 1979 Labatt Blue claimed top spot in the Canadian beer market. It lost this status in the late eighties to Molson Canadian, but over the next decade, periodically regained top spot as consumer preferences fluctuated. In 2004, Budweiser took the top spot, pushing Blue to third for the first time in twenty-five years.[1][2] However, Labatt Blue remains the best selling Canadian beer in the world based upon worldwide sales.

I think I haven't seen that in stores. I don't pay close attention to the beer section, I could be wrong.
I much prefer mixed drinks. My favorite is called a Lemon drop.
Ghey ass Jaron.
lol.
<_<
Come on Jaron, man up & chug some Tequila or Mezcal.

Kokanee is nice, but for some reason, I can't find it anymore around here. There used to be tons of ads too, but it's no more.
Alexander Keith is good, the blond one. I often buy that when it's on sale.
Keith's is great. back in tha day (early 80's) it was only available in NS. Whenever anyone from NB went there, we would bring back a 24 or 3.

What the fuck?
Are your German and Czech alcohols too good for me or something?
Should I make sure to cook some tacos with it too?
