There were rumors about his health. TMZ reports there's talk of him being dead following botched heart surgery:

Maybe he drank bleach.
Who is the heir, the sister? She'll wrap Trump around her finger in no time
So if he did die who's the new despot?
I hope he's not Undead.

Is that Grilled Cheese?
She doesn't look so frightening with toast in her mouth.
No, looks like a single, large piece of bread to me.
Looks more the part in this one.

Oh, sure, ruin all the fun of an exciting new dictator.
Would she be the only dictatoress at the moment? (We haven't had many of those, actually).
I believe she'd be the only dictatrix, yes. 2020, the Year of the Woman!
Is she making a run for it with the last piece of toast in the country?
I like the toast look, she should stick to that.
I think at this point the Kims should be considered hereditary monarchs.

This one looks more like she's going to start telling her master plan to the secret agent that is gagged and bound in front of her.

I wonder if she is a freak in the sack.
Great, now I'm hungry.
Would she take over?
To say the Kim's are an hereditary monarchy is a bit simplistic. And they're not exactly paragons of women's rights.
Even with the current Kim there were some purges and other business necessary to ensure his succession.
Isn't there an older uncle Kim still alive who could be a Kimmy candidate?
I think it's important that she's kept on a leash.
I'd hit it.
No shit.
She's hot. I figure Trump will hit it really soon. And bread...that's like flashing a Patek Phillipe over there.

It is a common anime theme. Usually done by school girls. So the photoshopped image is basically saying, she is like a school girl.

It is a common way to introduce a character. Why does she need to put a toast in her mouth instead of eating it at home? Because she is late for school. That means she is tardy and prone to mistakes. But she is not a total bummer, because she still cares and she tries to reach school before the bell rings.
Having a toast in her mouth, usually with jam on top of the toast, also creates opportunities for interactions. She is in such a hurry that she crashes into her crush, resulting in jam all over his uniform etc. So she will have an excuse to call him etc.

The picture I posted is that of Rei Ayanami, from the anime Neon Genesis Evangelion. Even non-anime fans should be faintly aware of that title. It is a cultural icon and received lots of critical acclaim. It pretended to be a run of the mill mecha show when it started, but gradually turned into a horror, psychological, philosophical and also deeply convoluted mess that failed to resolve itself during its original run. It is one of the most well-known anime out there, watched by lots of adults.
The use of the toast in NGE is brilliant. It actually appeared in episode 26, the last episode, instead of episode 1, which is the usual practice. Rei Ayanami, if you know her, is a silent and emotionless character who does what she is told. Episode 26 is when the production team ran out of budget but couldn't resolve the story. So they decided to create this alternative world where all the characters lived normal lives, and everything happened before episode 26 was sort of a dream. Rei running with the toast signifies that she is now a normal schoolgirl rather than the deeply disturbed, emotionally stunted mecha pilot when the show started.
Man, toast is a lot more complicated then back in my day

You may be seriously overestimating here. I couldn't tell you a single anime title or character name, even if my life depended on it.
Evangelion was pretty big when I was a teen.
Walking with toast in mouth not so much though.
I liked Star Blazers.

I mean important anime issues aside does it really matter what member of the Kim family is running North Korea?
Trump thinks he has a great direct line into the Kim family through his buddy Kanye.

Figure heads don't normally execute rivals.
Or the non-figureheads do it and pin it on the figurehead that legitimizes the regime. It's really impossible to tell with North Korea.

Well, North Korea released a letter Kim wrote, so that definitely proves he is still alive and fully operational. :)
North Korea's Twitter confirmed he's alive and well also. What a miraculous recovery!
South Korea seems to think he's fine, at least publicly.

Well, the map's real - it's Steam's global traffic map for download stats in satellite view; looking at it now there is that one blob in North Korea.
Of course, the interactive map version of it lists "0 B" as North Korea's usage in the last seven days.
The location of the activity though?

I think they really did remake FF7, as crazy as that sounds.
From what I understand it's more of a reimagining? I've not played any of the FF games, so I have no idea. :)
I heard it is a remake, with modern graphics.
No, it's definitely a reimagining. The story is different and the game isn't even complete at the moment.
I will buy it when there is a PC version.
I just cannot buy any of them after the blatant false advertising of the first one.

The FF7 remake (which is the official title) playstation version is out. Screenshots, videos, and music files are available. No way it is false advertising. The graphics are definitely up to current standards.
I assume it's a joke that it's not a "final" fantasy since there are many more of them in the series.
My dad made the same joke, back when I bought Final Fantasy II (IV) in the early - mid 90s.

Being a dad it was a required joke.
But seriously I actually have never played any of them since the first one. Just coincidentally.
I think I only ever completed FF7, which is considered a classic. I bought FF8 but didn't get very far. I also played FF13 up to around mid-way I think. Like most Japanese RPGs, these games have excellent characters, graphics, stories, and music, but the game mechanics are repetitive and boring. There is very limited freedom compared with western RPGs. They are the opposite of go anywhere, do anything.

Sir Dinadan the Humorist made the same joke back in the 6th century after being told about FFI by a time traveller.
Beat 7,8,9,10 back in the 1990s when I had enough time to beat games. It's the only JRPG I've been thoroughly addicted to.
I had a nostalgia bout a few years ago and tried to beat 12, but got bored quickly.
