I saw this article on CNN:
No, poor people don't eat the most fast food (http://edition.cnn.com/2017/07/12/health/poor-americans-fast-food-partner/index.html)
And wondered how the largely middle-class Languish rated.
Often, but only when I make it myself.
I have a soft spot for fast food breakfasts like an Egg McMuffin. During the winter I would usually take my two younger boys to Tim Horton's for their version after skating lessons on Saturdays. But other than the salt I think they are reasonably healthy.
So probably weekly. But if you don't count breakfasts it's every month or two.
About once a week.

Too often. I should limit myself to twice a month, at most, but it's more like once a week. Pizza, poutine, fries, nuggets, usually.
Define fast food.

Define fast food.
Food on the hoof that's a little too fast for you to catch up with.

A couple times a month for me. I only eat fast food when traveling, (but that's a regular occurrence for me.) I try to avoid it, but I'm often pressed for time, or with Amtrak linemen who seem to eat nothing but McDonald's.
I voted once a week if we include fast food like I make at home. If not about twice a month.

Food that you make at home is pretty much by definition not "fast".

True but how do you classified store bought frozen burger patties & frozen fries?

:hmm:
You're probably confusing Real Cal with Caricature Cal. Happens all the time around here, don't worry.

Fucking garbage, but you're still making it yourself.

Frozen food. I think for the purposes of this thread we are talking about buying food at a fast food joint.
A fast food establishment is a restaurant where you order at a counter or a drive-in window and then leave or seat yourself and are not served by a waitperson.
Like spiess said, frozen food is frozen food, it's not fast food.
Voted once per week, as there's a really convenient pizza place near my work that opened a couple of months ago, and I pick up a couple of slices from there for lunch every now and then when I don't bring food from home.
I don't watch a lot of television, so I was surprised to learn from the article that:
Trump once appeared in a McDonald's ad with Grimace (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W4QNXnNftWk)
The leader of the free world, everybody.

 Smart ass. You deserve a McScrotum on your face for that.

Yeah; I eat breakfast in the morning and pack my lunch, trying to stretch it out as far as I can, but rolling out at 5pm and with the traffic sometimes I don't get home until 7pm; by then, either I'm starving and I can't wait, or I'm too exhausted to do anything for myself when I get home.
2-3 times a week
Voted "a few times a week". I usually swing by McDonalds and grab something for breakfast; I gotta eat something in the morning when I take my meds or else a couple of them will make me nauseous, and I don't usually want to take the time to fix any breakfast for myself before I leave the house. If it wasn't for that, it would probably be about once a week for me.
I can't lie: McDonald's, for all its poison, is still my Weapon of Choice.
A few times a month. Mostly because my wife isn't a big fan of fast food. She usually insists in sitting down at a restaurant for lunch. But I get my way a few times a month.
Maybe ten times per year at places like McDonald's or the local Kebab joint.
That said I eat the reasonably good food in the canteen of my workplace most working days.

That seems like a rather incomplete study, or an incomplete summary of a legitimate study.
Okay, it seems like people from all income strata eat fast food sometimes at about the same rate, but that's a great leap of faith to assume that there is no variation of frequency of eating fast food within the "sometimes" category.
Maybe once a month.
From an outside perspective, I don't understand why Americans blame fast food for obesity. It is quite obvious: American food portions are huge, and there is a lot of meat, in particular red meat. This is true even for non-fast food establishments.

You apologize right now to the JTM company and whoever makes steak 'ums.
I buy a lot of salads and sandwiches and stuff from the local bakery. So often, but it's not that unhealthy.
Well, I voted "A few times per month," but now that I'm thinking about it, it might not even be that much. I went to Bill Miller's for lunch like a month (at least) ago, and that was the last time. Only other fast food place I go to is Whataburger, and I haven't been there in a long time. :hmm:
Now I want to go to Whataburger.
Here in Nepal, my dinners generally consist of samosas from the samosa stand. Back home... pretty rarely, unless those overpriced prepacked sandwiches count.

One might think that beef hearts would not taste any different from regular beef muscle tissue when ground up into hamburger patties. But one would be wrong.

My son is burned out on fast food (not that we took him to McD's that much-- he's just become more picky) so I don't take him to fast food places much anymore. But he loves a few places in the "fast casual" category: Moe's, Panera, Chipotle, and particularly the Gold Star & Skyline chili parlors. I guess I'm kind of the same way. If our local Dickey's Barbecue Pit was closer, I'd be tempted to go there almost daily.
My daughter still loves chicken nuggets and chicken tenders, so she's generally okay with any place that has those.
Both of the Dickey's in Louisville closed. Franchise dispute.
I WANT SOME GODDAMNED SPICY CHEDDAR JALAPENO SAUSAGE :(
Save your pickup lines for the disco.
