And now for some important news...
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090610/ap_on_en_ot/us_miss_california
QuoteIt's official: Controversial Miss California Carrie Prejean has heard the words "you're fired" from pageant boss Donald Trump. Trump issued a statement Wednesday saying he sacked Prejean for failing to honor her commitments as Miss California USA.
Pageant officials say Tami Farrell, the first runner-up to Prejean in the Miss California USA competition, will take over those responsibilities.
Prejean created controversy during the Miss USA competition, where she was first runner-up, when she answered a judge's question about gay marriage by saying marriage should be reserved for men and women.
Shouldn't have gone up against the gays, missy.
Wasn't she fired because she refused to do appearances as Miss California or some shit....?
Eh, who cares, she'll definitely have a career of some sort anyway.
Especially since how ghey do you have to be to watch the Miss USA pageant?

Bitch's got it coming.

I think I saw a commercial that she was going to host some fox news show (not permanently, just a one time gig). Apparently she has all the Fox News qualifications: pretty, blonde, young, big boobs, hates gays.

Except it did. The only reason she's fired is because she's lazy. The next one will probably hate gays even more. Everyone hates gays.

The New Miss California on Prejean:
QuoteOn Prejean's anti-gay marriage answer: "The problem is that it's not just about what she believes, she has signed on for a position as Miss California and she cannot represent the entire state based upon her own beliefs. She can go for that cause as Carrie, but not as Miss California."
She may hate gays but she keeps the sunshine image.

all men and women. Hicks are to me what AA-cups are to Cal. :P
So... you only look at online stuff after doing a very thorough amount of research on the model and know their views and standpoints on important and anti-redneck issues? Most impressive. That's a hell of a lot more work than I do. I generally aim for chicks I think are hot and I'm done.

I think he's saying he'll only strangle the trouser snake as long as he doesn't have positive information that a given chick is a redneck.
Which is still pretty weird but not as weird as what you said.

That seems an odd statement to me. On any political issue there are two or more sides. Unless the woman in question refuses to answer the question she must chose one side or the other, whereupon she is no longer representing the entire state.
Also, given that California voted for prop 8 one could argue that she does represent the majority opinion in California.

Yep...entire = majority. :)
Besides, no Tim, beauty pageant contestants and politicians are skilled (or at least supposed to be) at giving non-answers.

Ah. The World According to Garbon.
You're right about pure bis where it's an exact 50-50 split. Girls I go out and look for, but some guys I'm just a sucker for.
Anyway, explanation: I'm just picky. On girls: Hick drawl = turnoff. Blonde = turnoff. Any costume stuff involving the stereotypical tied shirt and daisy dukes, including pigtails = turnoff. Sound of oxygen being wasted as soon as the bitch opens her mouth makes my dick shrink faster than the thought of Ayatollah Khameini naked on a cold night.

That's the reason I saw reported - she wasn't doing her pageant stuff, and was too involved elsewhere. Trump supported her after the original issue. That issue was when a pageant judge, homosexual blogger Perez Hilton asked her about gay marriage. Her answer was that she believed in traditional marriage - a horror in today's world I know, but it was just her seemingly reasonable opinion.
The judge is a celeb blogger in the gay community and had some real nasty things to say after that. And then Prejean had some odd things to say later on, like being tempted by Satan to not speak her views when asked by the judge. She was then getting involved in marriage issue groups so I figured that she'd eventually over step her pageant stuff and be on thin ice, which appears the case now.
Seems like she's well on the road to becoming the next GOP Vice Presidential candidate.

Yeah I knew all of the background details. :P
But my point is that I doubt she really cares she got dethroned... the whole point of competing in a beauty pageant is to use it as a stepping stone to greater things (e.g. Kathi Lee Gifford, Vanessa Williams, Phyllis George) and get noticed. Prejean has certainly "gotten noticed", so I don't think this will hurt her one bit. I mean, look at Vanessa Williams, who was also dethroned.

Carrie,
Although I do not agree with your directive nor is this letter an indication of our intent to waive our contract rights, we do not want to escalate the situation with you. In good faith, we will simply ask that you provide us all of the details so that we can block it in on our master calendar. We would also want to get the contact information should something come up - like you become missing after the event or you are in an accident before the event and need us to reach out for you. It is for your safety and our responsibility.

Carrie,
The Style Network has asked to schedule a general meeting. Generals in the entertainment field are an opportunity for casting and producing executives to gain a better understanding of a potential talents range and demeanor in order to consider them for future projects. They are done without a specific agenda. I have had great success with my actors who have taken generals and would suggest you give it strong consideration. You never know where it may lead and sometimes they develop entire shows around you. The following days are available to meet with them here in LA. Please let me know as soon as possible if any of them work for you.
Best regards,
Keith Lewis
