It's feature length. Why don't you give us the synopsis?

The lunar reflectors by themselves would seem to be definitive, Seige.

It's a lot easier to land on the moon than it is to get Siegebreaker not to spy for the Chinese.

The basic premise is that thousands of people from all branches of the US Government have managed to never talk about this, that the reams of documents pertaining to this have never been unearthed, and that somehow some overweight guy posting in his underwear from his parent's bedroom has somehow found the TRUTH(tm)?

The people keeping this secret are probably just part of the Vast Right-Wing Conspiracy.

I am sure Sheilbh could come up with some religious doctrinal statements that would not only make my idea not-far-fetched, but, in fact, inevitable.

I think they may have claimed it was fake.  It was in the same issue of Pravda as the great success of the eight five year plan and something about sea monsters.

There is no reason for it to be an hoax. You also have to believe that the Russians would fall for it. I don't think so.

Here's an article (http://tofspot.blogspot.com/2013/08/the-great-ptolemaic-smackdown.html) about the development of the heliocentric model and Galileo.  Read parts 1, 2 and 9 for the heliocentric bits, parts 3-8 about Galileo being an asshole.

Not on-topic, but I was quite entertained by it.

Edit: 3-8 is Galileo, 9 is heliocentric.

I used to think the strongest rebuttal of the hoax theory was the impossibility of that many people keeping a secret forever.  But then information about Ultra was finally declassified.

I never considered such an argument to be that strong.  It's not enough to blow the whistle, you also have to retain your credibility.  For all we know, there are some conspiracy theorists out there who are really discredited whistle-blowers.

Orders of magnitude difference in the numbers of people and level of screening makes the comparison inapt.

The relative sizes of, and distance between, Earth and Moon, to scale, with a beam of light traveling between them at the speed of light.
Scale model of the Earth and the Moon, with a beam of light traveling between them at the speed of light. It takes approximately 1.26 seconds.

Ok, I just read the whole wiki article.  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moon_landing_conspiracy_theories

I'm back in the fold, following the herd once again. The landings were real.

Until next year then, when I forget all the arguments in favor of the landings.

Sorry but I have PTSD and I forget a lot of shit. So you guys gonna have to put up with all this shit again next year.
