Isn't this result a product of modern culture? A hundred years ago virtually everyone was racist including the intelligent, surely a similar result would not have been achieved.

I don't think that fits the narrative that these people are trying to build by perverting science.

Racism:  Buzzword that gained increasing popularity in the 2nd half of the XXth century, after the defeat of Nazi Germany.  Used to discredit political opponents into impotence.

What Jake refers to should be rightly coined: culturism - term signifying a discriminatory attitude towards cultures deemed as inferior to a generally accepted norm - see 'islamophobia'.
