I wonder when some politician will have the balls to say: "Yes, sometimes my private opinion is different from my public opinion.  Sometimes you have to do what your boss tells you to do and sell it to others, even if you disagree with it.  You, my dear precious infinitely wise voters, are my boss. "

I don't think that would play well. Then you are stating that you mistrust voters. You don't can't be trusted to be told what you really think.
"I've never been quite sure what the point of a eunuch is, if truth be told. It seems to me they're only men with the useful bits cut off."
I drank because I wanted to drown my sorrows, but now the damned things have learned to swim.

Mistrust and disagree are not the same thing.  Only a yes-man agrees with their boss 100% of the time.

My bosses generally have known when I've disagreed.

I think at this point as long as Trump doesn't visibly implode during the debate, he can be considered to win.
I think (or at least hope) that there are limits to the low expectations game, especially when everyone keeps saying what you're saying.  Low expectations work best when they're not being talked about.

Yeah, in that CNN poll, 63% said he exceeded expectations and he still lost that poll 57-34.

By the way a new Rasmussen poll is out and it's brutal for Trump, especially since it's a poll that general leans Republican by a point or two.

QuoteRepublican nominee Donald Trump has been clobbered in the White House Watch survey following the release of a video showing him discussing women in graphic sexual detail.

Rasmussen Reports' latest national telephone and online survey of Likely U.S. Voters finds that Democrat Hillary Clinton has now jumped out to a seven-point lead – 45% to 38% - over Trump. On Friday, the two were in a virtual tie – Clinton 43%, Trump 42%.

The latest survey shows Libertarian nominee Gary Johnson with seven percent (7%) support and Green Party candidate Jill Stein at two percent (2%). Three percent (3%) like some other candidate, and five percent (5%) are undecided. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

This marks Clinton's highest ever vote total against Trump – and her biggest lead - in Rasmussen Reports polling stretching back to August of last year. It's Trump's worst showing in nearly two months. This survey was concluded prior to the second debate between the two candidates last night in St. Louis.

Eighty percent (80%) of voters say they are already certain how they will vote in this election, and among these voters, Clinton posts a 51% to 45% lead. Among the voters who could still change their minds, it's Clinton 43%, Trump 25%, Johnson 25% and Stein seven percent (7%).

Rasmussen Reports updates its White House Watch survey daily Monday through Friday at 8:30 am Eastern based on a three-day rolling average of 1,500 Likely U.S. Voters.

(Want a free daily e-mail update? If it's in the news, it's in our polls). Rasmussen Reports updates are also available on Twitter or Facebook.

The survey of 1,500 Likely Voters was conducted on October 5-6 and 9, 2016 by Rasmussen Reports. The margin of sampling error is +/- 2.5 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence. Field work for all Rasmussen Reports surveys is conducted by Pulse Opinion Research, LLC. See methodology.

Rasmussen Reports asked voters if they've ever changed their vote because of presidential debates. We'll tell you what they say at 10:30 a.m. Eastern.

Trump now has the support of just 71% of Republicans but still leads by six points among voters not affiliated with either of the major parties. Eighty-three percent (83%) of Democrats back Clinton. She also earns 16% of the GOP vote, while 10% of Democrats still prefer her Republican rival.

Eighty-four percent (84%) of Republicans and 86% of Democrats say they are certain of how they will vote, compared to only 68% of unaffiliateds.

Clinton has a 14-point lead among women in the latest survey.
The two are now tied among men, a group that has supported Trump by wide margins in the past. Roughly 80% of both men and women say they are sure already how they will vote.

Jet: So what kind of woman is she? What's Julia like?
Faye: Ordinary. The kind of beautiful, dangerous ordinary that you just can't leave alone.
Jet: I see.
Faye: Like an angel from the underworld. Or a devil from Paradise.

That wasn't a presidential debate;  that was anti-Clinton violence porn performed before a live studio audience.  The cunthaters must've came sooo many times, 25 years' work of whacking material compressed into 90 minutes, a wingnut version of The Violation of Hillary Clinton, starring no less than the Greatest Cock of All Time, coked out and ready to fuck.

This is definitely going to sink any chances for Bill Clinton's presidential run.

If President Trump jails Hillary, the US will no longer be able to accuse China or other dictatorships of putting political opponents behind bars.

Yeah, we're going to file that one under "D" for "Demagogue", Mono.

Mono's being cute in thinking that all executives in their respective countries can jail their political opponents at will.

So how did it go? I am hearing Trump won.

I heard that too.  He convinced Americans he will save them from Obama's death panels and the fake Chinese science behind the global warming hoax.

We must listen to the same news outlets.

Why did he spend half the debate standing creepily behind her?  :lmfao:

Those are the times Hillary crossed the stage to get close to the person in the audience asking the question.

What do youse guys think Hillary's optimal response to Donald's heckling would have been?  Tit for tat?  High road?
