ABCNews calling it for Trump already.

EDIT: AP now too. It's over.

Democratic side still not called.  Any hope for Sanders?

FunkMonk

Trump has broken the back of the Republican party. Its leaders lay low at his feet. He will straddle Cleveland like a colossus.

Once the party of Lincoln and Eisenhower. Now, that of Donald J Trump

He's been eating into that early 15% Clinton lead. Trailing by around 5% now.

Trump just weighed in on Twitter: "Wow, Lyin' Ted Cruz really went wacko today. Made all sorts of crazy charges. Can't function under pressure - not very presidential. Sad!"

Marc Rich pardon.

IIRC Marc Rich bought his way out of exile by donating to the DNC. :nerd:

Plus Clinton's second term was already done.

Also - Rich was innocent.

If anyone's wondering about Kasich — he's sticking in the race. His campaign just sent out a memo making a case for why he should keep going.

Cruz does it to himself--arguing with 10 year olds, ignoring running mates falling through the floor and trying to engage with protesters setting him up as the Straight Man like it's the fucking Sermon on the Mount.  The guy is beyond clueless.  He may well be functionally retarded.

No problem, he'll probably name his cabinet tomorrow.

I wonder if anyone will bother with him and he just drifts from diner to diner for the next decade.

I am beginning to smell a possible Sanders upset tonight in Indiana.   :hmm:

The Democratic race may yet drag until June while Trump consolidates Republican money and power...
