I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011

For instance, a Spanish diplomat in Budapest in WWII used those provisions to give phony Spanish passports to thousands of jews there in order to allow them to flee the country. You can read about it here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/%C3%81ngel_Sanz_Briz

Join me in Normandy. JOHN HAS A LONG MUSTACHE.

No sane person would select Normandy as a home away from home if they had other options.

Good man.  I liked Normandy when I was there.
I have come to believe that the whole world is an enigma, a harmless enigma that is made terrible by our own mad attempt to interpret it as though it had an underlying truth.

It has nothing to do with the crisis. Spain has had provisions to fast-track Sephardi citizenship since Primo de Rivera's dictatorship 90 years ago, just like it does with other descendants of Spanish exiles (mostly Latinamerican).
