I know Ed has an iPad-dedicated thread, but I just have a lowly Touch.

What are some good games for it?  In particular any intriguing strategy games out there?

Try the ticket to ride games. They have ones for iPhone. And they give out for free every so often.

Building choo choos is fun.

Ticket to Ride games are good.  There are a lot of good board game ports.  Tikal, Le Havre, Tigris & Euphrates, Caylus.

So far...

Ticket to Ride is fun.  Seems like it'd be better on an iPad - really hard to see on the Touch.

Le Havre - unlike TTR which had a nice tutorial, this jumps dumps you into a bunch of text rules at the start.  Haven't managed my way through them yet.

Infinity Blade - was free.  Looks pretty.  Haven't even made it out of the intro however.

Not recommended, but on my Touch:

Fruit Ninja - Surprisingly fun for such a simple game.
Wipe Out - fuck I can't manage to make it past the first obstacle.
Tetris - I don't like how they adjusted it for touch - seems like it takes the challenge out of it.
a handful of "free" games that just time gate you for anything you want to do - garbage.

Really I think I should be exploring the board games section some more.  And wondering about KoDP, but suddenly $10 seems inordinately expensive. :D

King of Dragon Pass.

Absolutely.

Also Year Walk seems to be interesting...and Minecraft Pocket.

Neat game. Don't expect an RPG though; it's its own unique little combat simulator and meditation on doing things over and over again.

Plants vs Zombies 2 seems to be very entertaining. :)
