I don't like Steam, and it's a 10 year old game: IT BELONGS ON A CD!!

I'm having a hard time at character creation.  I made a Knightly type character but I don't care for him.  It's the eyes, he looks like David Bowie.  It kinda creeps me out.
I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011

Tomb Raider seems pretty fun, but I'm only an hour into it.

I managed to get LA Noir working :w00t:
Turns out it doesn't like spaces in its install path....despite its default install path of program files and rockstar games.....

Playing Tomb Raider - liking it so far. Granted, the only other Tomb Raider game I ever played through was Legends.

Still, having a good time so far. It's pretty dark and gritty, and whenever you think you're getting somewhere, the plot stomps on Lara some more. In a way it feels like Tomb Raider meets Die Hard (the original) with all the punishment Lara is put through. :pinch:
I am, somehow, less interested in the weight and convolutions of Einstein's brain than in the near certainty that people of equal talent have lived and died in cotton fields and sweatshops.

I die a lot in this game. Watching a woman get strangled to death and then shot in the face five times in a row is a little intense.  :(

Obviously not a kids game.  :P

That was the great thing about Conan's review;  he had it on a constant loop so I didn't have to.  FAP FAP FAPPITY
