What a bullshit call;  how the hell else are you supposed to separate the receiver from the ball, unless you hit him at contact?  Fucking pussy NFL.  In 4 years, it's going to look like soccer.

Heh, Niners pouring it on now.  Watching the Pats melt down is priceless.

I can taste Timmay's tears from here in Washington. And you Steelheads can suck it, too.

Jesus, someone ban Timmy-lite now.  Then ban Timmy.
I have come to believe that the whole world is an enigma, a harmless enigma that is made terrible by our own mad attempt to interpret it as though it had an underlying truth.

Absolute terrible game in terrible weather. Can't use the weather as an excuse though, NE weather is often terrible, you got to be able to play in it.

Thankfully, this wasn't a playoff games, and we'll have time to recover, especially with Gronk coming back next week.

Jet: So what kind of woman is she? What's Julia like?
Faye: Ordinary. The kind of beautiful, dangerous ordinary that you just can't leave alone.
Jet: I see.
Faye: Like an angel from the underworld. Or a devil from Paradise.

Defeatist.

Brady needs to score a huge comeback so that the Niners are demoralized for next week.  :yeah:

Hail to the Redskins baby!  I guess so long as they can keep getting Pro Bowl performances out of rookie QBs they will be fine.

Got to beat the Eagles now to set up the matchup.  The matchup that must be...or maybe New Orleans will win and spare them the trouble.

No joke, I read a few days ago Goodall is looking at options to get rid of the kickoff because it's too dangerous.

Great game. Unfortunately really hurts our chances of getting a bye.

I can't believe we managed to tie that game!

Just can't give up 40 plus points and expect to win though.

I do not hate you, nor do I love you, but you are made out of atoms which I can use for something else.

As much as I enjoy seeing the Raiders beat the Chiefs, I couldn't help but think that it is simply costing them draft positioning at this point.  Hopefully it helps get Coach Allen and company another year, as I think they have potential.  I do hope they play Pryor more in the next games to see if he has potential to be "The Man", or if he's simply another Al Davis pipedream.  I think it is safe to say Palmer is not the answer at this point and going forward.  Side note for a close friend of mine and my LFFL bench:  Russell Wilson is really shaping up nicely.  He has shown a nice level of development and control as the season has progressed and they've opened up the playbook for him as well as increased the level of trust they have in him.  I'd be quite satisfied if Seattle not only made the playoffs this year, but managed to go deep into them and show what they've developed of late.

So with Chris Pressley out for the year the Bengals brought in a few guys to try out for the empty FB spot.  I had my hopes set on Owen Schmitt but we ended up with:  John Connor
