No, seriously, I thought I couldn't make peace now, that is why I called it a truce in my secret diplomatic dispatches. When you challenged, I tried to find the rule, couldn't and agreed with you based on the spirit of the agreement and then it was pointed out that I was right all along then, obviously, I changed back.
