Awesomely gruesome. Though I still think the zombie ant fungus is even stranger.

The article reads as though the fly lays its eggs in one host. If it's a one-to-one predatory thing, I would guess that the likelihood of runaway consumption would be pretty low.

Somebody more competent than me want to clarify this?
