I tried it once.  Once.

Thankfully for devout Jews, there are much better kosher alternatives.

When we came to US, our family drank mostly Manischewitz when the occasion called for wine.  It was a very convenient choice, since even children and old folks under doctor's orders could drink it, as no one regarded it as a real wine.
