Online games as a rule suck.
Though I absolutely adored the first person Gundam game on the dreamcast.  Something like that would be great.

So....it feels suitably clunky and pilotty or rather more like a normal fps?

Oh not at all like a normal fps. Very much clunky.Takes some getting used to, in fact.
