Ok so I am back and stuff

Unto me a son is given, unto me a son is born.  So Henry Ellis Poole was born at 5:56 PM CST 9 lbs 4 oz 21.5 inches long.

Well that was sorta surreal it was the easiest birth in the history of birthings I think.  It was a planned C-Section.  Courtney had started having contractions but she couldn't feel them, they only detected them at her doctor's appointment and then rushed her to hospital.  I showed up and we just sat around chatting until it was time to have the operation.  By 5:35 PM or so we were ready to start and then at 5:56 PM there he was.  Hardly any pain for the wife.  The main thing she has had to deal with is soreness and stiffness.

And so they put him on the table to clean him off and I was there and...well it was odd experiencing one of the greatest moments of my life again in almost exactly the same way.  I felt like a moment had been reincarnated.  And exactly the same way I picked the baby up and introduced him to his mother for the first time on the outside.

Anyway after an exhausting weekend (damn I got to watch alot of Olympics...at one point I watched the entire Denmark-South Korea Handball game...WTF was that on?) I am back here at work.  Thanks for entertaining me in the waiting room...except Katmai that bastard.
