Hey I enjoyed the book alot as a kid. Especially since Sara pretended she was a prisoner in the Bastille. :frog:

For some reason I thought the diamond mines were in South Africa since I guess that is where I thought diamonds came from. But I guess in retrospect since that dude's servant was Indian that did not make much sense.

Oh wait actually that stupid Shirley Temple movie made me think they were in South Africa since the Boer War was introduced as a story element. I remember thinking the movie sucked.
