And i don't have anything to input as all my stuff is in script form :nerd:

That's OK, I had to retype my stuff into it direct, because I use a manual typewriter.

Having nothing of my own, I used three blog posts of an old crush.

She came up with H.P Lovecraft, Dan Brown, and Douglas Adams.

Not sure if I dodged a bullet there, or not.

Fuck you.  :P  Helps me focus.  Can't write on the computer, or I'm logging into WoW or EVE or porn the moment I have a brain fart for 3 minutes.
Never lost so much as a single sentence to a hard drive crash or power fail or any other electronic bullshit, either.

Besides, I love my typewriters.  Beautiful machinery.  My Olympia SM3 pops like an MG-42.  West Germans knew how to make their shit last.

Or you could just have an old laptop without games or entertainment whatsoever as writing tool and backup your data to a USB stick.

Though I love the charm of mechanical typewriters myself. I prefer writing by hand, though.
I am, somehow, less interested in the weight and convolutions of Einstein's brain than in the near certainty that people of equal talent have lived and died in cotton fields and sweatshops.

Meh, tried that before.  I simply don't trust any of it. I'll take my chances on the elements.

Depending on how good the flow is, sometimes I'll longhand first, and redraft and first edit on the typewriter on the fly--the best thing about a typewriter is no delete button, I hate deleting something I could conceivably use elsewhere, every word and sentence is sacred, blah blah blah--so I'll edit or cross out on the platen directly, which is why I usually type with a pencil in my mouth.  With all the lines, arrows, circles, comments and scribbles, nobody can read that shit except me.

It's a little labor intensive, but it's what I do.

Got Gertrude Stein, Arthur C. Clarke, and Chuck Palahniuk.

Stein and Palahniuk were short stories I wrote years ago and Clarke was an essay I had to write for English class.

The first chapter of my thesis - it said I wrote like Defoe.
I have come to believe that the whole world is an enigma, a harmless enigma that is made terrible by our own mad attempt to interpret it as though it had an underlying truth.
