I am currently in a project with some Spanish colleagues. The Germans and the Spanish had a bridge day on the 30th of April, because 1st of May was Labor Day. Then the Germans had one on 18th of May because the 17th was Ascencion, next Monday is off for Pentecost and the 8th of June is off for Corpus Cristi, I think both here and in Spain. The Spanish colleagues had one more day because of some local holiday in Madrid.

We barely find time for our regular communication.  :P

At least they are in Madrid, which usually means people have short pauses to eat away since coming back home is impractical. Over here we suffer a 2 1/2h lunch break. It makes it hard to deal with people in sane places past midday since we'll be off eating while they are at work, and then they'll be off home when we come back.

I dunno, I kinda like the idea of a two and a half hour lunch break. Maybe we should all switch to the Spanish method.  :P

I don't.  I wish I could cancel my lunch break and just leave and go home a half hour early.  But noooooo...stupid labor laws.

Not me. I like having a shorter day. Besides, I'm so close to home that I go home for lunch most of the time.  :)

I just take my lunch at the end of the day. :)
