Well now he has two.

Fireblade's title was too vague. "Dick Clark: dead as a MRF". Could have been talking about anything.
To sleep, perchance to dream. But in that sleep of death, what dreams may come?

Well at least people responded in mine.  :D

RIP.  It was kind of hard to watch him do New Years Eve after his stroke, but props to him for keepin' on keepin' on as long as he could.

It's official, I'm a psychic.
First Maxim - "There are only two amounts, too few and enough."
First Corollary - "You cannot have too many soldiers, only too few supplies."
Second Maxim - "Be willing to exchange a bad idea for a good one."
Second Corollary - "You can only be wrong or agree with me."

A terrorist which starts a slaughter quoting Locke, Burke and Mill has completely missed the point.
The fact remains that the only person or group to applaud the Norway massacre are random Islamists.

Okay, I've got to ask.  What does MRF mean?
I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011

I suppose the more appropriate MFR was taken.

Really?  I was kind of embarrassed on his behalf.  The countdown was particularly painful, since he couldn't keep time anymore.

And he looked terrible right from the time he had his stroke- I wonder who thought it was a good idea to keep him on the air.

From what I've read, it was his idea.  Nobody else really thought it was a good idea, but they went along with it because A) ABC felt that he'd earned the right to make that call, and B) his production company produces the show.
