Is there any way to force him to change his account to someone elses email?

Um...I guess get a new email account just for WoW?  I do not think you have much you can do in the way of forcing him.

Did you previously have a battle.net account?

If so, sounds like your account was hacked.
Posts here are my own private opinions.  I do not speak for my employer.

katmai

Yeah that is what has me confused.
Fat, drunk and stupid is no way to go through life, son

Josquius

Could be either a hack or an attempted hack.
Its common hacking practice to request help tickets from lots of places where you have an account in the hope of getting as much information about you as possible, which due to chaining of accounts and using the same emails and passwords in multiple places, can eventually lead to getting into something valuable.
Though.....it is strange he wouldn't just claim to be you, that is standard practice. Odd he would try to use his name instead....

Maybe his email address is only slightly different to yours and he made a mistake in signing up and mistyped yours?

As far as i can see it's related to a battle.net costum of not checking who reactivates old users. Why you'd rather reactivate an abondoned profile rather than create a new one, I don't know?

It's harder for them to find new copies of the game nowadays than simply doing that.

I still get those emails from "Brizzard Entertainment" asking for my BattleNet account information because I am trying to sell my Diablo III account I've never had.

schaksen

Unless they borrowed my email-/accountname somewhere else, it originates from Diablo 1...
