What I got from MegaPath was that it was an AT&T fuckup with my circuit.  Seems they fixed whatever the problem was late this morning.

I figured a T1 circuit with 99.9% availability would be good enough for a moderate-traffic message board.

I am restarting plans to colo the server at a local datacenter, though.  Then I can have it in a four-9's environment, and do reciprocal offsite backups.
