Mr. Science and/or Political Activist.

To be honest, I don't see what was wrong with the second "Mr. Science" actual example.  In context, I imagine he was dealing with the omnipresent tards a few years back who thought the hadron collider was or even could be dangerous.  I mean, it might be if you stuck your head in it.

Zmiinyi defenders: "Russian warship, go fuck yourself."

I was sort of baffled by the idea that everybody who posts science stuff is some sort of professional making ignorant people feel stupid.  They could just be a dude who has an interest in science.

Which one are you?

I try to avoid conversations where I know the people who have already spoken aren't going to be around to read my reply.

Yeah, no shit.  It's not like I'm a lab tech, I just know some basic stuff about things I'm interested in, like aerospace, biology, and nuclear weapons.

Razgovory

I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011
