A bunch of horny military guys with the go ahead/excuse to oogle(sound it out Marty) and cat-call hot females.

So what.
They're acting more like love struck teenage girls than rowdy military guys.

You dont get it.

Tim needs to watch the end of Paths of Glory again.
I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011

I seem to remember that scene starting with easily understandable catcalls for the future Mrs. Kubrick.

So, what did you think of 2 Different Tears?

Jet: So what kind of woman is she? What's Julia like?
Faye: Ordinary. The kind of beautiful, dangerous ordinary that you just can't leave alone.
Jet: I see.

QuoteThe stigma against male shows of emotion in public, so prevalent in the West we often forget it exists, is far less of a factor in Korean culture.

Oh yeah we are real stoic macho men over here.

I am too unemotional for you to tell.

I do not think it is the fact these guys got emotional in public that was the weird thing, it was that it was over a all-girl pop band.

Also um the West is not exclusively Germanic cultures is it?  But it is so prevalent that Italians are emotionally repressed without even knowing it.

I'm sure if you had a bunch of American hotties singing/dancing in front of troops (especially if deployed in Afghanistan) the reaction would be pretty similar.

Yeah, I was expecting something more "out there"

Some NFL cheerleaders visited our unit when we were deployed and it got a little rowdy.  :D

Thank you, Tim.

I have wasted the last hour of my life watching girl generation videos.
