I'd vote to be annexed.

Been there. Boring. Too much flannel. EH EH EH EH EH EH EH EH EH EH EH EH ABOOT ABOOT ABOOTABOOTABOOTABOOTABOOTABOOTABOOTABOOTABOOTABOOTABOOTABOOTABOOTABOOTABOOTABOOTABOOTABOOTABOOTABOOTABOOTABOOTABOOTABOOTABOOTABOOT

Pass.

Sounds okay to me.  America would always have the ultimate say in a merger between any or all English-speaking countries.  And they would adapt to service us.

Also, getting a passport is kind of a bother, right?  It'd be a lot easier, for me, if everyone else just formed a union.

Passport? nah.

Of course, I'd rather go to Toronto again (Massey Hall was faboo) instead of Chicago, where the Jim Belushi lookalikes might try to thrash you for not worshiping the Bears or wanting to eat that abortion of a pizza.

I never had that Pizza while living there.

I'd like to be able to opine meaningfully on pizzas, and I should, but being distant from our epicenters of culture, I can only compare Pizza Hut to Papa John's. :(  (Pizza Hut.)

The pictures on the Chicago-style pizza wiki page look kind of fucked up, though.  Goatse-like, in fact. : /

Maybe it's because of the exchange rate.

It was all good when their dollar was a weak and we could flood in there for cheap crap.

I don't know. It was a very long time after that all that got put in place.

Yay for unfunny smugness?
It's hard not to be smug for us.

Yeah, it comes naturally for overbearing, arrogant bastards.

I don't know. It was a very long time after that all that got put in place.

It took a couple years to implement but the rationale given to us by our American friends for creating the policy was that you could not be too careful in the post 9/11 world.

That explains American arrogance.  At least the arrogance of Albertans (living south of Edomonton) has some justification.

Yeah, I think that put the implementation of the new passport requirement on the front burner.

I really like good Chicago style pizza. It's hard to mess up, but chains still do. I make it myself and it's great.
