Bayless is one of the least likable people on Earth.  Still, his boys got Tebowed, so fuck him.
I do not hate you, nor do I love you, but you are made out of atoms which I can use for something else.

Ed Anger

from an interview with Pollard:

QuoteYou got an opinion on Super Bowl XLVI?
"My opinion? I really hope the Giants – I just hope they just put a thrashing on the Patriots. I really do. To lose to a team like that the way we played. We played a good game. You gotta look at the experience of the team. You gotta look at what do the Giants have? They got a front four that is relentless. They got a secondary that is really, really good. They got a linebacking core that has been with them. The dinking and the dunking man? It's just not going to happen. They are going to have to take shots down the field. I think the Giants watch our film and watch the film of the season. They gotta take away their big time players. [Rob] Gronkowski I think he is coming off that ankle, so I don't know if he will be 100%."

Your reputation as the "Patriots Killer," continued yesterday with the tackle on Rob Gronkowski huh?
"Oh man that is fine and dandy. Like I said to a lot of people it is part of the game and this is what happens. If you don't like it? So what. I am going to go out there and I am going to play me."

Second part is the best.  :)

This is the match-up everybody, from the media to the league itself, wanted

I wanted Giants-Ravens. But there you go.

Ditto. Might have been the last chance to get even with Ray still playing.  Oh well.

Looks like the Bengals expect Zimmer to not get the Tampa Bay HC job, since the supposed plan was to move DB coach Kevin Coyle to DC should Zimmer leave and they gave Coyle permission to talk to Miami about the DC job there.

I'd hate to lose him, but I hope Coyle gets a DC spot somewhere.  He's due.

Eh, and I guess it's still not completely public knowledge that Fitzie isn't coming back as LB coach, as I mentioned here last week

Colts signed Ravens DC to be new coach?
Ravens DC seems to be a one-year gig at this point.

Still, the Colts job is going to be a weird one, what with the whole Manning-to-whatshisname changeover.

Yeah, that's the guy.  Well, we'll see how it all works out for them.

Ray Lewis and Ed Reed call the plays anyway.  The DC just talks to the coach.
