I dig the stadium music up there in B-more.  Pearl Jam earlier, now Alice in Chains.   Way better than the shit that is pumped out most places.

Well...17-13 at the half.  That could have been a lot worse.

Ray Ray was waddling like a fat old man on that big gain by Foster.

Ray Lewis: on field asset or liability?

After the Bengals losing last week the Ravens are my team the rest of the way, which is screwing with my natural instinct to root for the underdog in this game.

At least it ended up being more entertaining than it was looking in the 1st quarter.

Btw, after the 20th time CBS showed the commercial for that Rob Schneider sitcom, I realized they were pronouncing Cheech Marin's last name with the Spanish pronunciation.  When the hell did that start, and why change it this late in his career with everyone knowing him by the anglicized pronunciation?

The current trend towards overpronouncing Spanish names & words is tempting me to pretend to be ignorant to the whole thing & butcher the pronunciation like the Brits do.

The Canadian feed is overwriting the CBS commercials with their own, which means I don't get to see that sort of terrible thing.
I do not hate you, nor do I love you, but you are made out of atoms which I can use for something else.

Jacoby Jones running backwards now.  I shouldn't complain too much, I guess.  At least he fucking caught it.

Great tackle by Nakamura though.  He's a very sure special teams tackler.

Definite asset.  He's still a great on-the-field leader, and can still make some amazing plays.  He loses a step on a play every now & then, but overall he's still a big asset.

Specifically with the leader part, you want his 16 years of experience out there on the field reading offenses, making adjustments, etc.  I would imagine he makes the defensive coaches' job pretty easy-- to the point where the only thing they need to tell him through his helmet radio are when the offense is bringing in different personnel.

Having said all that, I get the feeling that Suggs is about ready to take on that role.  He has half of Lews's NFL experience, but then again that's almost a decade.

Hm.  Johnson should have caught that 3rd down pass, then the short FG attempt.  Missed opportunities.

  Poor Kareem Jackson just can't catch a break.

No, Dierdorf, you don't kick a FG here.  Even if you don't make it, the ball is on the goal line.

Nice stop, now don't fuck it up.  And keep Jacoby on the sidelines.

That Kobesystems commercial is the stupidest shoe commercial I've ever seen.  Maybe the stupidest non-political commercial I've ever seen.

That is a pretty bad commercial.

I forgot the game was on at normal time today and just turned it on.  Oh well, playing Killing Floor was a lot of fun too.
