QuoteSeven Ravens players selected to next month's Pro Bowl

Running back Ray Rice, fullback Vonta Leach, outside linebacker Terrell Suggs, middle linebacker Ray Lewis, defensive tackle Haloti Ngata and safety Ed Reed were all selected as starters for the game. Right guard Marshal Yanda was named to the team as a backup. Lewis has been selected for a franchise-record 13 Pro Bowls, five more than Reed. Suggs has been named a Pro Bowl-performer five times. Left guard Ben Grubbs was named a first alternate.

I hate to say it, but I haven't seen much from Ed Reed this year to warrant it.  And actually, I think that crazy white guy from the Texans outplayed Ray Ray this year.

QuoteOnly the New England Patriots and San Francisco 49ers had more with eight apiece. The Green Bay Packers also had seven selections.

Lol, Patriots.

Eh.  Cushing will get in there most other years anyway if he keeps playing like this.  Maybe this "snub" will just make him (more) angry and insane, which they kind of need.

E: Damn the dude has been pretty productive this year though.  110 combined tackles, 2 picks, 2 FF, 4 sacks, 5 passes defended.  He's slightly off his 2009 roid numbers, but not by much.  I'm just glad to have a D worth a shit in Houston.  Too bad about Mario.  Was looking like a Pro Bowl-ish year for him as well.  Five games, five sacks.  Welp.

They'll be back next year, man.  Houston has scary good talent, on both sides of the ball.

The days of cowering before the almighty shadow of Manning are over.

It never works like that for Houston teams though.   :glare:  I mean, I don't care about their baseball team, and actively hate their basketball team, but goddamn.....the football team have just the worst luck....I mean seriously:  FRANK FUCKING REICH?  That asshole is a Colts coach now too.

Edit:  Oh shit, the baseball team is going to be....they're going to be in the same division as the Rangers now, right?  Did that ever go through?

Now don't be dissing the Fourth Reich.

What you should be ashamed of is how badly they treated David Carr, who had the potential to be one of the greatest, only to see his career snuffed out on Draft Day.

That poor bastard.  They should have taken Peppers and let Tony Banks die for the cause.  I get why they took him though.  Pretty boy franchise QB with the first pick ever or a DE?

That was The Year, man.  Warren Moon and the good guys vs. those shitheads from Dallas.  Instead the Oilers choked and the Bills blew their wad against Houston and fuuuuuuuck

I don't want to hear any boo-hooing about that fucking Lando Calrissian Dark n Lovely model with his pretty ass spiral.  Bernie saw enough of that shit.

Hey.  Fuck Bernie.

 Damn this was kind of a long time ago.

The Patriots have a bye in the first round of playoffs, and an excellent 12-3 record, despite their best efforts to do otherwise.    <_<     Still no defense on that team.

Admiral Yi

Patriots are looking good.  No defense has really figured them out since they went with the two tight end passing game.
