Well, my family is spread through Europe and U.S., I spend Christmas Eve as usual with friends, and we don't gift each other anything, so no Christmas Loot for me.

Considering how my family gifted me in the past increasingly thoughtless/nondescript stuff, I can't say I'm sorry about it.
I am, somehow, less interested in the weight and convolutions of Einstein's brain than in the near certainty that people of equal talent have lived and died in cotton fields and sweatshops.

Daddy bought himself a Xetum timepiece.  Because nobody takes care of me better than me.

Tyndall or Stinson? I love the watches but I don't like their bands.

EDIT: unless you got the steel band, which is a-otay.

So far I've received a Milwaukee sawzall, a nice set of different blades for it, a shirt, a little cash, and some Bay Rum cologne (thanks Mom).

I also reroofed the garage and procured a 21-cubic-ft freezer and a new water heater, which are more "household gifts" than "me gifts" but they sure as fuck make me happy.

My company got us 20 rmb gift certificates to a bakery. That's ~$3.
My boss gave us 100rmb, cash. Much nicer. :)
I also got some nice tea from a coworker.

Besides that, I'll only get what I buy myself.

I'm told I may get some underwear.  I've found myself in the position of gift giver rather receiver.
I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011

So far a GPS doohickey, some tools, and some gift cards.

Oh I bought myself a new printer yesterday when I went up there to get some ink.  I guess that counts.  The ink was going to be like $50.  The printer was $99 (50% off), and it has automatic two sided printing, which the old one didn't and it pissed me off every time I had to turn the paper like a tard.  What can you do?

I got the Tyndall black dial with the steel band.  I'm picky when it comes to wrist straps, and I didn't like the way the stitching looked.

My sister and I were at a total loss for Dad, so we went in halfsies with an iPad2.  Won't he be surprised.

The wargames I got for myself came today. It was a Christmas Miracle.

I also got the Jets loss I asked Santa for. Fuck you Rex Ryan.

LOL, I'm blowing the doors off that shit next week.  The wish list's been stacking up, time to knock it down.
