I don't see what the problem is, assuming she was wearing some clothes when she read to the kids.

So ironic given your avatar.

They should have realized it, and then ignored it as professionals since they were doing nothing wrong.

big whoop. kids don't kno who she is. And if anything, having porn stars at school would raise father participation rates
I'm starting to get the picture of exactly which parents were outraged.
well in any situation it's usually that parent who gets outraged. So it's a safe bet :D

What Max and i are saying here, is that mothers are prone to over-react. In case you missed it ;) :P

I don't think that's exactly what I'm saying.

Rather there are certain wives who see it as a betrayal if their husband ever thinks of another woman sexually.

I wonder how she's introduced.

Jesus said so, so it must be true.

:yeahright:

Not all mothers. :contract:

Why would I care? It's not like a 1st grader or a 3rd grader would know of her past performances, and if they did, there are bigger issues at play here. She's more or less "gone legit" in her career, so simply saying, "Actress Sasha Grey is here to read to you!" would suffice.

This is plain silliness.

True, not all. I'll modify my statement to when a parent does react it's more often then not a mother. I don't think i've ever seena  dad storm into a school to "defend" a kid. i have seen several mothers do so, however. I'm related to one who did it all the time.

I wonder if any of the girls I knew in school became porn stars and then retired to read stories to little children.  :hmm:

I disagree. One wonders with all the potential legitimate actresses who could read, why bring her? This sort of thing is normally reserved for First Lady's or more prominent celebs. Even the so-called legit movies she's been in haven't exactly kid fodder. So, again..why her? She isn't that well know at all outside of porn. Any inquisiitve Grade 3 student would then go home and google image her. "She must be somebody famous," said kid wonders. It just doesn't make any sense whatsoever and who ever picked her knew it would only elicit outrage and a couple pages of languish debate.
A really poor choice.
