When I was little, I had an encyclopedia set for children.  It was from 1960ies, but that was still pretty good.  Most children couldn't get such sets from any year. 

In the volume that had a section on cars, they drew what cars might look like in 1980ies.  Their concept car of 1980ies was eerily similar to the car Homer Simpson designed.  :hmm:
