You know, I normally like soloing in MMOs. Group quests would sit unfinished in my quest log until I've overshot them, levelwise, and there's a good chance I just drop them later on.

So far I've done all group quests in TOR on Korriban and Dromund Kaas, and have a great time doing them, even though with PUGs (remains to be seen if it remains fun when the floodgates open on the 20th).

We tried taking down Hammer Station yesterday, but we kept wiping on the final boss. Quite possibly a group cmposition problem. I was tanking, an Operative was healing (he was only level 16), an assassin for DPS and - and this was probably the problem - another tank. The final boss should be easy enough (stay away from the red circles and his blaster cone of death, kill his low level adds quickly), but we couldn't kill things fast enough.

You know, I've usually had good experiences with PUGs in MMOs, although usually there're at least one or two players from military backgrounds who help keep everything together.  Makes one appreciate why command/leadership skills usually offer a boost in MMOs. :D

Did they transfer from rangers to armor?
Women want me. Men want to be with me.

Anyone know of a site that has some or all of the holocron locations?

Apparently you cannot add a friend who is not online. Lame.

My Sith juggernaut is up to 13 I think. Tanking seems impossible still though.

Around Level 15 you get a stance that creates more threat and increases defence, and also lets you "guard" another character (including your companion) - that means you take damage directed at them, and reduce their threat generation. Shortly after you get the "taunt" command.

But yeah, till then it's hard. :P

Ran a few group quests today, including Hammer Station (was a breeze this time - Sorceror as healer, assassin and sniper as dps). I also forayed into space. It's nothing too spectacular - think old Rebel Assault rail shooters where your ship is following the prescribed path and you shoot thingies. Fun little diversion, though.

 Pretty sure I added you as a friend, and you weren't online.

Did you get the spelling right?

Pretty sure you can't. A guy from Wargamer tried to add me when I was offline and got "User doesn't exist", and I got the same when I tried while he wasn't online.

No, you can add people when they're offline... I friended Berkut last night and he wasn't online.  I think there's some bugginess with friending; the other night I tried to friend my brother and couldn't, and he was online.  Later I was able to friend him with no problem, and I don't think he was online at that point.

I friended Cal, and sent him a bunch of messages, but he just ignored me. :(

Aren't people always complaining that you ignore in-game text?   :hmm:
The medievals were only too right in taking nolo episcopari as the best reason a man could give to others for making him a bishop. Give me a king whose chief interest in life is stamps, railways, or race-horses; and who has the power to sack his Vizier (or whatever you care to call him) if he does not like the cut of his trousers.

Government is an abstract noun meaning the art and process of governing and it should be an offence to write it with a capital G or so as to refer to people.

I seem to recall such remarks... :hmm:

This is true, but their complaints were largely unfounded.
