Also to obsess about height which is pretty irrelevant in today's world.

I agree.  There is no question of the benefits.

I did.  My boys have it.  Which is actually a bit disconcerting now that my 14 year old is getting close to my height.  I am not used to having decently sized people around me.

I think 6'2" with a slim ass is the optimum configuration.  You're tall enough to be taller than most people, but you can still fit comfortably in anything that's not a WW2 submarine.

We don't really want to hear about your gay fantasies.

Not if you don't have a slim waist to go with it, because then your pants fall down frequently.

Puh-leeze. DGuller is way too old.

The solution to any trans-Atlantic flying:

Air France's new Premium Economy. just $1644 return Seattle-Paris w/taxes!  :mmm: :frog:

Don't Air France fall out of the skies?
I do not hate you, nor do I love you, but you are made out of atoms which I can use for something else.

Capetan Mihali

If God wanted man to fly, He would have given him wings.

I can't be arsed to hear Martinus whine, but for what is worth, I try to fly Lufthansa whenever possible. Simply the best.

If Lufthansa is not avaliable, I try British Airways. Sorta Decent.

Sometimes, for short flights inside the Iberian Peninsula I actually have to use the Portuguese Airlines (TAP) or one of its subsidiaries. I only do it if I don't have any other choice  :yuk:

To put it mildy: flying in those is often a VERY good reenactment of what was like to fly in a WW2 bomber.

(And I'm not even exaggerating in some cases)

It is worse when Lufthansa - because it is part of Star Alliance - actually changes my seat from one of its fligts to one of TAP's...  :(

Not all the time.  Sometimes they cross the Atlantic with their passengers alive.
I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011
