I think the grandmother looks like the brightest of the four, your judgment appears to be affected by misogyny.  :hmm:

Dunno. Maybe she is just ugly, but the mother does look positively retarded.

Just British.  They look like that.
I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011

What's worse than the Daily Mail running yet another dregs of humanity story? When they steal it wholesale from a possibly even more down-market publication, The People.

Blaming the messenger, aren't you Brazen?

What I don't get is the way they look so proud in the picture. Kind of like those American tabloid shows "I'm fucking my best friend's daughter" sort of thing. The picture here seems to say: "Look how proud we are that we're a family of sluts and we're propagating the planet with more of us!"

That's funny. I thought they looked like proud parents and grand-parents.

That you think they should feel shame for some reason says a lot about you.  :hmm:

None of them look like proud grandparents, that was pointed out in the article.  :P

They're taking a picture.  What do you want, a fucking Frenchman frown, so that when their newborn child is twenty she can look back and see how badly she ruined her parents' lives?

This is ugly journalism, designed to have people congratulate themselves on not having children when they were 14.  Oh, respect to that.  Did you all manage to finish high school too?

A gal who works in customer support in my department became a grandmother when she was 35 or 36.  Her own grandma is still alive & kicking, so her grandkids will be able to say that they knew their great-great grandmother.

By contrast, my great-great grandfather was born in 1840 and served in the 126th Ohio Volunteer Infantry in the Civil War.  Boggles the mind.

He's my patrilineal great-great grandfather, so he's the one I focus on.  Smartass.

It seems that, to Josephus, having kids = having sex = being a slut.

There are people like that They are similar to those who would excuse abortions in cases of rape and incest but otherwise ban it.  Live with it.

Oh come on. The thread title  uses the term "white trash" which pretty much covers the slant of the thread. It doesn't say Uk moves to the lead when it comes to nice young teenagers having coital relations with each other.

Any my point was the gist of the article and the picture. If my 14 year old daughter got knocked up, I'd like to keep it out of the daily press, yeah. We certainly wouldn't have a family pic of all of us smiling in the paper. I'm happy for them and all that but there's nothing particular to be proud of.
