I really don't like that expression. I mean, it's great to go downhill. Takes no effort. All that work you did going uphill is now being rewarded by a breeze of a journey.

On the other hand, you're headed towards the bottom. There's a great chasm ahead of you. Probably filled with lizards or snakes.

It's just not a good expression.
