Vancouver beats San Diego to meet Miami in the final

Worth watching the highlights of that game I think, the first goal especially was lovely.

here's the thing about MLS, and I don't think I'm alone in this: I follow my team, Toronto FC, religiously. Like all Toronto teams they suck, but I doubt I've missed more than 10 games since they formed in 2007. I'm hardcore.

But otherwise, unlike say, the EPL or Serie A; I don't give a shit about the rest of the league. I haven't been following the playoffs and if, and only if, I am doing nothing on Saturday, I might be arsed to watch the Final.

If I do, then go Whitecaps.

The world Cup draw finally got done.

Seems England will play in either dallas or toronto. They haven't decided yet which side of the continent they will play on.

Denmark is in group A if they pass the playoff stages... which is dubious given the recent weakness.

Will La Nazionale make it?

I mean, HVC dreams of a Latin duel Portugal-Italy in Toronto to see the city burn. :P

Josquius

To not qualify for this when the mighty Curaçao and Cape Verde are in.... :pinch:

I enjoy  mocking the Italians more when their team doesn't make it... again :P
Being lazy is bad; unless you still get what you want, then it's called "patience".

Whitecaps have a golden opportunity to gain a ton of fans here.  Canucks nation is in full angst mode from 10+ years of bad management.

With Trump's travel ban in effect, seems like fans from Haiti or Iran will have to watch on their TVs. (Unless they play in Mexico or Canada, I guess.)

I like Canada's chances of getting out of their group.

In several surveys, the overwhelming first choice for what makes Canada unique is multiculturalism. This, in a world collapsing into stupid, impoverishing hatreds, is the distinctly Canadian national project.

Not so good for les Bleus I guess.

I don't know, Norway usually buckles under pressure in tournaments. Senegal is a strong side.

I have watched the first half of Everton vs Nottingham Forest, and I wonder why Everton's Tarkowski still is on the pitch. Should've been sent off.
Not that it excuses the extremely poor performance by Forest. The team sorely lacks Chris Wood. Jesus, while energetic, has little end product.

Senegal might be gunning for France with history et al too?

Sure. They are definitely sports rivals.

I am not sure what history you are referring to besides centuries of love and friendship -_-
