My Wrangler just called you a fucking hipster.  :P

If you got a 4-door Wrangler, that's automatically in yuppie, wannabe soccer mom leagues.  :P

:P  You're just jealous of its wider wheel base and a real back seat.

I just put in badass Deltas.  They have little St. Georges Crosses in them.

It has a small amount of mud on it. Babtised with alabama red clay. Can't wait to go on a real trail.

Seedy, the Wrangler is a nice vehicle too, the FJ is just better :) .

I dunno;  I give the engine edge, storage space and styling to Toyota, but suspension and overall seating comfort to the Wrangler.

Have you even tried getting the little missus into the FJ back seat with those emergency hatches called back doors yet?  Gack.

Yes, she is already demanding steps  I told her I would get rock sliders that double as steps. :)
It is designed for off road, not soccer moms  :P.

My missus is pretty lithe and light, so no problem there.  :)

Edit: Though trying to cart my parents around in it is a bit of a comedy.

Oh, I bet that's a hoot.

Then again, you should see my mother and her new Tahoe. I don't know what's funnier;  watching her get in and out, or seeing the gray hair barely above the dashboard.

Some of these gay threads are almost incomprehensible  :(

You're a brit.  You wouldn't understand having an unpaved road, nevermind going offroad.  :console:

Hopefully you aren't serious? Enugh roads in Britain to warrent the landrover, let alone anything with clearance and 4x4

I picked up a used 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Hopefully teenagers won't smash this one to bits.

Why would anyone want to drive a car off a road?
I do not hate you, nor do I love you, but you are made out of atoms which I can use for something else.

There are roads everywhere.  If a place doesn't have a road, it's not worth going to.

Not all roads are paved tho.
