Some rain off and on, temps warm like Spring time through Christmas day.    :)

In Palm Springs, dangling my legs in the pool. This is how to do Christmas.

In several surveys, the overwhelming first choice for what makes Canada unique is multiculturalism. This, in a world collapsing into stupid, impoverishing hatreds, is the distinctly Canadian national project.

The pool is probably reasonably warm, nothing like dangling your legs in the lake when you go ice fishing.

Yeah pool is heated.

Though I'll probably jump into the hot tub later when the severe weather passes.

Probably not that much, but all 3 cities shown in the blue region are at least 3000 feet up.

Most of the western area in the dark blue is a fairly substantial mountain range in central New Mexico, including some ski areas.  Then the eastern part is high plains desert.  Perhaps a bit unusual for that much in one go, but probably not unprecedented.
