Much better to have Spring and Fall be the best time of year, you get twice as many good days and the bad days won't kill you.

I was talking about comfort too. Much easier to put up with 3 months of winter than 9.

And I don't think it's the same. I generally only feel like July and August are too hot. September's cool in the morning, warm in the afternoon, just about perfect in the late evening. January is too cold all day. Sure, in a hypothetical place(in the northern hemisphere ) where January is the best month of the year, the summer will be too long. But that's winter, not spring and fall.

Nice, big fucking monster cold front coming in today.  Lots of rain and wind as the temperature drops.  Most of Maryland under Tornado Watch today.
