Smartass.   We're fine, because we live in the white hood (third oldest part of town).  Multiple gas leaks in town, USM shut down till further notice, massive damage at Hattiesburg High School (possibly achieving what white flight failed to accomplish).  All animals accounted for.

Big storm coming off the plains.  Should hit here in about six hours.  A few more to hit Meri and maybe a day till it hits Ed and Spiess.
I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. Here in eastern Mass the storm is supposed to hit late Saturday into Sunday. Forecasters are talking about some of it being rain but can't yet tell where the rain/snow line will be. I'm on the rain/snow line pretty much, based on what they're saying now. But too early to tell for certain.

It's supposed to be snow here for the first couple of hours, then moving into sleet/snow for the next few hours. Tomorrow morning is going to be fun. So very glad that I take public transportation.
