Walked 15 minutes to the bus terminal, and I think I have frostbite on my thighs. Dress pants do not equate to good cold-weather gear. It was -20F/-30-ishC with windchill at the time. I need snow pants, but there's still no snow.

Good grief, damn that's cold, I'd have thought at that temperature it's best to play safe and get some proper cold weather gear.

I have proper winter clothing. My coat doesn't go to my feet, however, and I'm not wearing longjohns to work. The slacks that I have on are perfect for when I'm in the office, but not so perfect for trotting around town looking for a bus in sub-zero weather.

He wasn't there again today
I wish, I wish he'd go away...

I don't know, I'd go for the longjohns over think nylon anyday, even on a women.  :D

I wore jeans & longjohns to work today   The jeans were over top of the longjohns, of course.

For once I was thoughtful enough to go out & get the car started so that it was nice & warm by the time the kids finished breakfast.  The starter made some horrible complaining noise when I turned the key, though.

Considering the motor madness yesterday, I'm staying in.

I'd boil in my office if I wore those. I can't even wear woolen slacks without getting a heat rash.

The heat in office area was non-functional today.  That was fun.

It is up to the 40s here.  Last tuesday it was -30 in the morning...not a bad difference for a week.
I have come to believe that the whole world is an enigma, a harmless enigma that is made terrible by our own mad attempt to interpret it as though it had an underlying truth.

It is hovering around 30 here, about best can ask for, hell of lot better than the -10 it was for most of Nov, and better than the 40's we had two weeks ago as everything melts and then when it inevitable drops below freezing the roads turn into ice rinks.

We have a 40% chance of snow today, with temps warming up to 32F/0C. I'll believe it when I see it. :glare:

Last night I accidentally set thermostat to 15c. No wonder if was cold when I woke up this morning.

I'd read out the temperature like a civilized person if I were at home.
