Just got a tornado warning.  Checked the radar and the front looks pretty damn big.

We rarely get tornados in the North East but I have seen weather/news tracking potential tornado conditions and it is damn scary.

Hmm, just after I posted this, over the weekend Vermont got a small tornado. Two people injured and some minor damage.   :(

The best time of the year and the worst day of the year :w00t: :weep:

Suddenly much warmer today, 24C here this afternoon.

That makes it the 2nd warmest March day ever recorded in the UK.

It is just about that here in Santa Cruz.  It would feel more gorgeous if this winter/spring we had more rain.  Tough drought year.
I have come to believe that the whole world is an enigma, a harmless enigma that is made terrible by our own mad attempt to interpret it as though it had an underlying truth.

Yeah, I don't enjoy warm weather if it's very dry, you can almost feel the plants/landscape crying out for rain.

It's been alternating between warm and cool, and some rain. Today was nice, mid 50s (12c). Tomorrow rain. But that's all normal for March into April.

Going to plant a small garden this year. Mostly beans, bush and pole beans. I didn't plant last year, was frustrated by a couple years of bad crops. Instead I fertilized and rested the garden and will plant a bit this year. I got beans from a company "Seeds from Italy". But I still haven't found the awesome beans my father and grandmother planted. They kept some of the beans from previous year's crop to plant the next year. Sadly, when younger I wasn't as interested in the garden to learn all the tricks and knowledge  they had. So I've never found the beans they planted which were among the best I ever had. :(

And yet some areas that are having super warm days now are going to see snow over the Easter weekend

This is the most snow we've had this year. It's a proper white out with 12 m/s winds as well.

Who needs spring anyway.

Had a teeny-tiny bit of light snow this morning, but quickly turned to a beautiful, if cold, afternoon.

I don't think Texas can decide what kind of Spring it wants to have. Does it want to be 3C or 24C? It cannot decide. Are you going to be sweating or freezing? It is kind of day to day right now.
