After a couple days of heat and humidity, today it's cooler and drier.

Similar picture here, though I guess we didn't have the quite the high and high humidity you had.

Not hotter than cities in the US, but it is darn hot for Canadian standards : it was 31 C felt as 40 C because of humidity. Not having AC doesn't help.
