That big white building in the background is the old Montgomery Ward distribution center; nothing but docks and even a rail line.  My Dad remembers picking up a refrigerator there.

You can see it in the background in old NFL Films footage of Johnny Unitas and Raymond Berry playing catch in Morrell Park.  Sat empty for decades, and I always thought it would be a badass condo development.

yeah 33 here today and freezing rain to coat our 3 inches of snow.

We got about four inches of snow, first snowfall of the winter that I had to use the snow blower on. It was supposed to turn to rain earlier on but I don't think the rain got here as early as predicted, so we got the snow. Going to be warm tomorrow Sunday, in the 50sF, 10-13C, and some of this will melt but next week will be cold over all leading up to Christmas weekend.
