Anyways, the 2 inches turned into 4 of the heavy wet snow. Of course, I get hit by a kajbillion snowballs. EVERYBODY IS GROUNDED.

I don't get the hand wringing over Aleppo. This war has lasted over five years and something like a half million people have been killed. The only way to stop the killing is to engage in it ourselves in a big way and take responsibility for the outcome, something none of us have the will or desire to do.

For the first time in months I got caught in a rain shower yesterday, only one of the day too; guess it's been a rather dry autumn/winter so far.

We're getting a mix of snow and rain this weekend, probably a few inches of snow where I am then it'll turn to rain. Sunday will be warm, in the 50sF, 10-13C. Then cool or cold again next week. So far this winter no significant snow storms. We've just had some bare coverings of snow that melted or was washed away by rain.
