All of those posts, gone but not forgotten.

I'm somewhat surprised that relatively few of those posters have been 'lost', just Fadhiz, Hami, Bmollson,  Sasks (?), Camper, Paul Atreides, Michael Psellus ?, Habsy (?), Oglekvinde, King Christian IV, Rocky Horror, Hortlund.

What other significant, though not so prolific, posters have he 'lost' ?

Spellus and Fahdiz are still around.
The medievals were only too right in taking nolo episcopari as the best reason a man could give to others for making him a bishop. Give me a king whose chief interest in life is stamps, railways, or race-horses; and who has the power to sack his Vizier (or whatever you care to call him) if he does not like the cut of his trousers.

Government is an abstract noun meaning the art and process of governing and it should be an offence to write it with a capital G or so as to refer to people.

It can't be helped...We'll have to use 'that'

I miss Hamilcar.  On the other hand, I know what he's up to and know his life seems to be going rather well (at least professionally), so that's cool.

Paul, KC4, and Habsburg: also great dudes.  Possibly dead.

It is far better for the truth to tear my flesh to pieces, then for my soul to wander through darkness in eternal damnation.

Jet: So what kind of woman is she? What's Julia like?
Faye: Ordinary. The kind of beautiful, dangerous ordinary that you just can't leave alone.
Jet: I see.
Faye: Like an angel from the underworld. Or a devil from Paradise.

No.  It's nobody else's business.*  If he wanted it to be, he'd have told everyone his real name and where he was working.

*Technically, not even mine.

Did he win a Nobel Prize?  :hmm:
To sleep, perchance to dream. But in that sleep of death, what dreams may come?

Did he win a Nobel Prize?  :hmm:
He wishes.

To be clear, I haven't actually talked to him in several years, but I looked him up the other day just to see if he was still doing what he had been doing, which he is.

Give him a ring for us and tell him to come back.  :D
